The Wire Stalk Came

Oh my wirey goodness. I just found out that my wirey Mom Stella had puppies. I have 4 new baby brothers and a new baby sister. My sister Poppy is expecting in about 2 weeks so I will be an Aunt. By the way that is not a rabbit in the sack, the pup just has big ears.

I will post pictures as soon as I have some. I'm off to run laps around the house. Wahoo!!!

Mount Hairy Lodge Weekend Recovery

Hello All,

I've been away for a while. Mom and Dad were hogging up the computers. I had a wonderful time at Mount Hairy Lodge. Thank you to Koobuss for all the arrangements. I got to meet a lot of my blogging friends. It was a non-stop fun filled weekend. When I got home I just crashed from all the excitement.

The other night Mom was peeling apples at the table. What could she be doing?

Mom was making apple pie, I got to help...

and taste.

Final inspection before going into the oven.

Helping Mom cleanup.

Now I have to say that while I didn't get any apple pie. Mom gave me a bowl of homemade doggy ice cream that she made for my 2nd barkday. Yummy!!!

Bye for now.

Superbowl, Big Woof

I was surfing the web today trying to decide what would be the perfect birthday cake for my 2nd birthday. Everyone is talking about Sunday and the Superbowl.

That is all you hear about. I am not happy that I have to share my birthday lime light with some stupid game where humans pile on top of the human with something called the pig skin. Poor pig, I hate to see what became of Porky.

Well I found a couple of possibilities...

This isn't bad but I kept searching.

This is kind of nice, simple but very yummy looking.

Definitely no cats allowed at my birthday.

This is kind of kool, although that grassy mat reminds me of my poop deck for the boat, so maybe not.

Now this is a cake any dog would be proud to have. I just have to get Mom to bake it for me. I will help with the preparation.

At least the Stupidbowl won't interfere with my favorite Animal Planet shows. I forgot Dad will be hogging up the big flat screen for that dumb Stupidbowl.

Till next time...

Cold Saturday Afternoon (First Video)

Dad took me out for a long walk today and then he let me play out in the backyard.

This is my first attempt at reality TV. Lights, camera, action.

This is my Fido Fleece. My parents insist that I wear a coat when it's cold, especially since I got plucked last month.

As you know I'm not a big fan of sweaters and coats, makes me itchie.

Nothing like a good stickie to chew on.

You notice I have a leash on; well I don't exactly come when called.

After Dad brought me in the house I took a nice long nap in my burrow ball.

Bye for now...

Scene of The Crime

I have been away so long I don't know whether I should wish everyone a Happy New Year or wish you a Happy Valentines day. Which one is closer?

Winter is so boring. I don't know what came over me the other day but I destroyed one of my Christmas presents that Santa Paws brought me. I ripped off the reindeers little antlers, his hat and totally de-stuffed him. Lets just say I've had a lot of fiber in my diet.

When Dad discovered the carnage he came over and questioned me. "What reindeer"? "Dad that is just awful". "Who could have done such a terrible thing"? "Hmmm" he said.

Dads new favorite show is that dog whisperer guy with the roller skates. Pffff... yea Dad you go right on believing your the pack leader. The only one training people here is me and I don't whisper. Talk to you soon.

Christmas Day 2007

Well this morning I woke up and got Mom and Dad up so I could go see what Santa Paws brought me. I was told that I had to wait for family to arrive before I could open my presents.... R-R-R-R.

Mom was busy in the kitchen cooking and baking. Dad took me out for a walk and when I returned Mom let me have a little treat.

It was a yummy creme-de-menthe filling for Mom's pie.

I patiently waited by the front door for our quests to arrive so I could go open my presents.

When the family arrived I had to wait even longer because breakfast came first. This is not fair. Mom gave me some yummy bacon after breakfast so that made up the wait.

We all finally retired to the livingroom to open presents. Nope now I gotta pose for pictures, for the love of reindeer!!! This is my cousin Cassie with me in my Christmas PJ's.

Santa brought me a burrow ball, this looks comfy.

Hmmm whats in my stocking???

Cool more pull toys!!!

I dug all kinds of goodies out of my stocking including this yummy bone. Chris was trying to help me un-wrap it but I got that department covered.

After company left I sat on Mom's lap with my new bone and watched two dog shows on TV. The evil judges did not pick the Wires for the Terrier group, thats just wrong.

After an exhausting day I was pooped and decided to test out my new bed. By the way, that frayed piece of carpeting is an indiscretion from my puppy days.

I hope everyone had a great day and got lots of presents.

Love,

Getting Ready For Christmas

Hello All,

I am a little behind these days with all the shopping and snooping through all the packages. The other day Dad was moving the furniture in the living room and bringing down boxes from a hole in the ceiling. He was taking tree branch's out of the box.

What in the world is going on here? The whole living room was turned upside down.

Mom and I decided to pitch in and take stuff out of the boxes.

Mom look what I found! This would look beautiful on the tree.

After a couple of hours of decorating the house, Mom decided it was time for a snack break. Mom put out some delicious snack foods and I was not allowed to have any. Mom has put me on a diet because she thinks I'm a boom-ba-la-dee (aka fatty). No human food for me until I regain my girlish figure.

I just finished composing my e-mail to Santa Paws...

Dear Santa Paws,

This Christmas I have a couple of requests.

  1. Please find nice homes for all the rescued wires out there that are up for adoption.
  2. Good health and good fortune for my Mom & Dad and to my family and all my new blog friends.
  3. A destination for my sister Melissa and Chris's destination wedding (even though I'm not invited).
  4. My Mom & Dad spoil me plenty, so give plenty of extra treats, Bully Sticks, & toys to less fortunate wirey doggies.
  5. An end to the diet Mom has put me on. I am not fat, I'm pleasently scruffy.
  6. A fuel tank installed in my sailboat by spring time.
  7. Our troops to come home to their families.
  8. Continued good search rankings for my blog on Google.
  9. My own computer so I can keep in touch with my blog friends.
  10. And last but not least a White Christmas.
Luna

I want to wish all of my bloggy friends a very Merry Christmas. Hope Santa Paws leaves you lots of goodies!
